In her early agency years, she provided case management to families with school-aged children struggling with mental health symptoms. She was often utilized as a mental health advocate and educator. Her case management background gave her a wealth of experience in working with the Missouri Department of Mental Health, Division of Family Services, school systems, psychiatrists and a diverse number of families.

Genevieve has provided individual and family therapy since 2010. Most of her clients have come to her for support with grief/loss, attachment injuries and traumatic experiences. She also specializes in treating phase of life problems or other adjustment disorders, anxiety and depression.

WHAT TO EXPECT

I know it can be a difficult and vulnerable experience to come to therapy, and it is important to me that you feel safe and comfortable in the therapeutic setting. My first priority will be to connect with you and build a therapeutic alliance.

We will collaborate to identify your goals for therapy, and I will cater my approach to best fit your needs. I consider it a great honor to be invited into your life and accompany you on your journey of healing.

When working with young children, Genevieve prefers to include the parents in the treatment process as much as possible.
