ABOUT JASON

No two people seek counseling for the exact same reason; your relationships, your story, and your perspectives impact the challenges in your life just as they shape its wonderful aspects. As your counselor, it’s important to me to establish a safe and non-judgmental environment

where you can be unburdened and open to wellness. What can you expect from me as your counselor? When we talk, I will follow your lead, asking questions and making observations with the goal of challenging or enlightening your reoccurring or unacknowledged thoughts. My counseling style has been shaped greatly by my decades as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, and at various moments I have felt the burden of anxiety, self-doubt, marginalization, and oppression in my life. I live in St. Louis with my husband and two dogs (one fluffy and one not fluffy, but both spoiled equally). I received my master’s degree from UMSL in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an added certification in Social Advocacy and Multicultural Counseling. I will be completing a certification in Couples, Family and Group Counseling in Spring 2023. I am currently under the supervision of Shelley Wolfmeyer (license# 2016033554). I am a private pay counselor, and my fee is $75 for a 50 minute session.

If you have questions about counseling or are ready to set up your first appointment, email or call me and I am happy to answer any questions you have.

Let us do this work together so you can expand your understanding of yourself. Let us do this work together so you can expand your compassion for yourself. Let us do this work together so you can wholly inhabit yourself.
